They exist more and more in Alberta too and the effort big energy goes to discredit landholders concerns is apalling.
Again, while “green is good”, intensity and density is what we should be questioning with regards to human health, ecology, and individual rights to enjoy one’s property.

I agree with you mrhappy but BIG ENERGY is not about upfront communication and honesty, and as the video indicates, this is about more than green energy which is good. It is about big corporates wanting green credits and improving their public image and to hell with anyone else, especially local property owners who have concerns.

I got a call a few days ago from a lady at the Canadian Hydro site near Shelburne.
She is 450 meters from a turbine and says the sound is the same as on the video.
But she’s probably just another Anti-Green crybaby.
Even Suzuki and E. May says they shouldn’t be so close to homes.
But then what do they know!

I have never made a dime fighting the industry and govt.

All I did was make a video of a wind farm and only after complaints came to me from people living near the turbines.
I’ve never shed a tear either.

You claim that the noise comes from the turbines that you are filming, but you fail to mention that there is a turbine right next to you, right?…..i will go to the same place and make my own video but this time i will pan right to show everyone you are directly beside one. Are you disputing the fact that you are beside one in your video?

I’m not saying you make money w/ blogs or video’s, you make money fighting the wind companies and there customers. Why are you in the area in the first place? Would you rather be drinking radioactive water from underground storage of radioactive waste? i don’t. your tax dollars are paying for these companies to get rich. they are no where near as efficient as nuke plants and cost three times as much to build. i think it takes roughly 5,000 wind turbines to produce the energy that a power plant produces. besides only big cities are receiving the energy. its just a big scam for the rich to get richer. hopefully the LHC will come up with some alternative energy.

WTF, I have been standing underneath and in the middle of a field of 100 turbines and i could barely hear anything, there was the quietest hum that i could only hear because i was standing next to them.

well these must be some shitty turbines, i live near port alma and kruger energy just installed 44 turbines, and they dont make a peep.

This isn’t about wind power, this is about PEOPLE. People who are being forced to live with this 24/7 and who have choice but to move (if they can possibly sell). The Ontario government have knowingly forced inadequate setbacks from homes and families to promote this vote-getting scheme. Would YOU want your child sleeping and playing just meters from these high voltage monstrosities? Our government is systematically forcing rural residents to swallow this, no debate allowed.
