ok I got a couple questions. If he wants to transfer our consumption of oil with cars to natural gas, how long is it going to take to get people to buy these natural gas cars. Even if there are conversion kits, which I dont know is viable, how are we going to fill up our natural gas cars? We would have to have natural gas fill up stations, which would take a tremendous amount of capitol.
Energy dependence on Persian Gulf countries is America’s foremost National Security problem. We are financing our own demise by sending billions of dollars to the people who want to kill us. Radical madrassas that turn kids into homicidal zombies are financed by oil revenues. Radical mosques that preach hate, right here in America, are financed by oil revenues. The old slogan “Live Free or Die” might as well be replaced by “Energy Independence or Death”. Support Pickens Plan! Bankrupt Terror!
We don’t need a 20-30 year bridge when we have it right now. American ingenuity has always risen to the occasion no matter what the catastrophe. We HAVE the ability to run our transportation system with 100% water. The common thinking of the day was that the earth is flat, and if you sailed far enough you’d fall right off. Thanks to people who proved it wasn’t flat, we’ve moved on. Thinking that fossil fuel is the only thing that will work inside our motors is just as inaccurate.
I agree with T. Boone Pickens that the right leadership can bring about a swift transition. Except, I think it should be a transition to water not natural gas. And yes to wind power for the electric grid. Although I have other ideas for the ultimate power grid going back to the ionization of water as stated by Stanley Meyer.
It’s about time someone with some money is willing to stand up and say,”enough is enough”. Money is nice but Mr. Pickens is not willing to stand by and watch the USA give away $7 trillion over the next 10 years. Thank you Mr. Pickens!!!
Didn’t bother T. Boone, so lighten up. Can’t expect people to be different than what they are. That is why this kind of change is a challenge and I applaud Pickens spending his time and money for these SERIOUS issues. An all out plan is the best, with concentrations in clean technologies. Wind in the windy places, a no brainer. Natural gas where it concentrates. Nuclear could be used near the big cities where demand is the greatest, offshore oil to fill in the gaps, no limits to our resources!
To bad we didn’t build out the power lines 10 years ago and realized it would be cheaper to credit wind power production. Can see some advantage to draining middle east first. Also need to get TransCanada to build the Alaska Gas line.

Take away the wealth from those who wants to blow us up. Keep it here where it belongs.

I have heard TBP is voting Obama, anyone else know? Obama seems to have an energy policy more jn resemblance to this plan.

you could actually fill up your natural gas car using the same gas line that goes to your gas stove, you could fill up right at your house

Need to get Minnesota involved too. Need that power line to Morris and Bemidji to transfer the power from the turbines.

You would think anybody else in the background would keep their mouths shut during this video. But no. It’s a woman – of course.
